“If I could give Laura 100 stars, I would. She is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. From the first time we met, I had a super awesome feeling about her – and let me tell you, it’s only gotten better since! As a hobby photographer, I had a lot of strong feelings about that particular aspect of our wedding. I poured over a lot of sites & met with a fair amount of local photographers, but when I saw Laura’s work, I was sold. She has an amazing eye and her work across the board is stunning. We ended up booking her for both our engagement & wedding photos and the results were beautiful – as evidenced by the endless compliments we get on the albums! I think her work speaks for itself, but I also want to add something about working with Laura – it’s also pretty amazing. She’s warm, funny and easy going – things that we really appreciated throughout the year leading up to the wedding. Did I mention that she’s also really organized and super quick to respond to email? “Laura was our photographer for both our engagement shots and our wedding. We also did day-after wedding portraits with her. Laura is absolutely fantastic – She has a great eye and is so easy to work with. All three sets of pictures (engagement, wedding, and day-after) were out of this world. I could frame practically all of them. I’ve had so many people tell me our wedding photos are the most amazing they’ve ever seen (and a lot of them have daughters who have been recently married and they made me promise not to tell their daughter’s they said that!!) “Laura Boyd was the best decision I made for my wedding, besides marrying my husband! We had a country Virginia wedding and from the day I started planning, I knew that I wanted her to capture the day. She was easy to work with in planning and she was fun and professional during the day. The only request my husband had was that he didn’t want to hear clicking during the ceremony. I seriously don’t remember seeing her during the wedding except when we took our pictures after the wedding. Yet, when I got the pictures, she somehow captured every single moment from the day…. even some moments that I was too busy and all over the place to see.
