Last month we traveled to San Jose for my husband to attend a conference. (He is a video game attorney. Pretty cool, huh?) After his business was done, we were heading up to Napa with friends, but instead of driving directly there, we drove down to Santa Cruz so we could take Highway 1 along the coast and then over the Golden Gate Bridge. I had never been to the coast of California (other than the waterfront in San Francisco), so I was very excited for this drive. And it didn’t disappoint! In fact, we loved it so much that we really want to plan a big CA road trip and make a vacation out of a drive along the whole coast.
